Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm (evenings and/or weekends, depending on workload)
RestoreCore is seeking experienced Restoration Technicians to join our disaster response team. Successful candidates will have prior experience in the industry and be familiar with the duties involved in fire/water emergency service response. Candidates with existing certifications in WRT and FSRT will be given priority consideration, however training will be offered. Building maintenance and repair knowledge is a plus. This position is physically demanding yet rewarding work responding to fires/floods. This position is based in King of Prussia region and travel throughout the area is required with occasional travel to counties within the broader region. A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are required. A pre-employment drug screening and criminal history check will be performed. Benefits include medical, dental, retirement with match, PTO and bonus program. Ample overtime opportunities exist. Must be available to participate in a rotating after hours on call program.
What you will do:
•Take and label photos; measure and sketch affected rooms.
•Remove excess water by mopping and/or extraction.
•Set airmovers, dehumidifiers and/or specialty equipment.
•As needed, pull baseboards, drywall, insulation, carpet/carpet pad, flooring, cabinetry, etc.
•Monitor and document temperature and humidity readings.
•Obtain Customer Service Report and Certificate of Satisfaction upon completion of job.
•Completes and submits in a timely manner all required paperwork.
•Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, vendors, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
What you should bring to the table:
•High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
•Active Driver’s License with clear driving record.
•Demonstrated customer service focus / superior customer service skills.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to interact on a professional level with internal and external personnel.
