New Jersey Apartment Association’s Annual Children’s Holiday Party

Restorcore Blog

Each year the RestoreCore team is one of many restoration companies in NJ that is proud to give back to the community through volunteering and involvement in great events like the New Jersey Apartment Association’s Annual Children’s Holiday Party. This wonderful event offers children from low-income areas to come together and celebrate the season with a day of holiday activities and cheer.

This year, team member Rambod Hashemi, a RestoreCore Business Developer, was able to attend NJAA’s annual event and volunteer for a few hours. Held on December 12th at the Meadowlands Exposition Center, the event welcomed around 1,100 children and had a variety of activities including drawing, dancing, art, face painting, and a live band. Vendors and NJAA members were onsite to volunteer to face paint as well as participate in other activities. Rambod spent his time doing origami with children and face painting. There were also a variety of characters on hand for children to meet like SpongeBob, Olaf, Mario, and more. And, of course, Santa and Mrs. Clause paid a special visit to the event.

NJAA held a toy drive to supply the children in attendance with a slew of new toys. This year, 80 NJAA members collected toys that totaled over 1,300 gifts for underserved children in a variety of North Jersey communities allowing each and every child to go home with something.

In addition to participating in the NJAA event, RestoreCore donates time and resources to a variety of other events including those hosted by originations like PAA East, PAA Central, IREM 1, IREM 3, and CAI PA during the holidays and throughout the year. Our team is grateful to have the opportunity to work with excellent organizations and other restoration companies in NJ to make a difference in our communities. Here’s to another successful year of giving back in 2018!
