RestoreCore offers a range of continuing education courses as a fast and convenient way to meet your specific training needs. We offer continuing education classes in property restoration, mold health affects, fire restoration in PA and NJ, and many others.  Our staff of certified CE instructors will lead you through a comprehensive course to keep your expertise fresh and up-to-date.

We offer classes on the following:

  1. Understanding Property Restoration. This class will illustrate the advantage of immediate mitigation, identify safety concerns and include demonstrations of the latest mitigation and restoration technologies. See the equipment and get hands-on experience.
  2. Mitigation of Fire Damages takes you through the behavior of fire and smoke. You will gain insight and knowledge of the impact of fire, smoke and water damage on buildings and occupants. This class will provide you with the ability to protect the health, welfare and safety of your policyholder.
  3. Successful Black Water Mitigation explains the definition of black water while examining the health effects that may result from a black water loss. This class will also take you through the various remediation procedures.
  4. Mold-Health Affects and Remediation gives you valuable insight and information on identifying mold at your property, along with ways to handle mold remediation and removal. Mold types and classifications will also be discussed.
  5. Disaster Planning Implementation leads you through the steps to putting together a disaster implementation plan. The class begins by discussing the types of disasters and the need for a communication and business continuity plan. Understand what having a plan means and who should be trained in how to implement the plan.
  6. The End is Near…hurricanes, tornadoes, snowstorms…natural disasters that can strike unexpectedly and leave a path of destruction at your property. This seminar will lead you through the steps to prepare your property as soon as the first storm warning is announced. And what to do after the worst has passed.
  7. Active Shooter seminar will provide guidance so that you can prepare to respond in an active shooter situation. The session will include how to recognize workplace violence indicators, describe actions to take to prevent and prepare for potential incidents and what actions to take when confronted with an active shooter.
  8. Hi-Rise Evacuation…should I stay or should I go?? Can I use the elevator? If not the stairs, then where? Shelter in Place – what does it mean exactly? Find out the answers to these questions and more.
  9. The First 24…Learn the steps needed to quickly return your property back to normal. We will also explore the importance of good crisis communication for employees, tenants and company image.

Basic Electrical:

This hands-on course is designed to help facility and maintenance personnel understand the risk and mitigate everyday electrical problems. Taught by Michael Goldberg, Master Electrician and Founder of RestoreCore, this course will explore electrical basics, safety and equipment. Also, offering live demonstrations of repairs for electrical panels, outlets, and more. A true hands-on experience offering the opportunity to install electrical panels, while receiving instruction and insight from a master electrician with more than 40 years of industry experience.

Plumbing Safety:

This hands-on course is designed to help facility and maintenance personnel understand the risk and mitigate everyday plumbing problems. Taught by Michael Goldberg, Master Plumber and Founder of RestoreCore, this course will explore plumbing basics, safety equipment. Also, featuring live demonstrations of repairs for faucets, sinks, showers, and more. Through the use of hands-on teaching devices, this course will allow the student to install plumbing devices, while receiving instruction and insight from a master plumber with more than 40 years of industry experience.
