June Employee Spotlight: Chip Main and Ken Toner

This month we’re focusing on two members of the RestoreCore team: Chip Main and Ken Toner.

Chip Main

Chip brought a background of construction management to RestoreCore when he joined 5 years ago. Today, his title is Emergency Service Manager, and his main responsibility is to schedule and coordinate all emergency service projects for the RestoreCore team while mitigating problems in a timely manner.

What has been your greatest accomplishment at RestoreCore?

As far as my greatest accomplishment at RestoreCore I cannot pin that down to one event. Being able to resolve an emergency in someone’s home or business, and see them smile and thank you for all that was done to get them back in order is my greatest satisfaction.

What’s the best part of working at our restoration companies in PA?

The best part of working at RestoreCore is that this is a stable company and they care about their employees. They always find the time to reward the team in some way – to say thanks for your hard work and that means a lot.

What have you learned about yourself by working here?

I have learned that one, we are always learning and developing ourselves to become better versions of ourselves. Even though I am not without flaws, I strive for excellence and never give up. Over the past 5 years I have seen a lot of changes at RestoreCore. Each year things have gotten better due to the efforts of everyone employed here and their input on how to improve all aspects of the business. It will be exciting to see where we are in another 5 years.

Ken Toner

With 16 years in the restoration sales industry, Ken joined our restoration company team just over 2 years ago. Currently he serves as Business Developer, marketing to insurance adjusters, brokers, and agents. In addition, he tends to several multifamily housing clients.

What’s the best part of working at the company?

At RestoreCore, you feel like you’re part of a big family.

What have you learned about yourself by working here?

The industry is constantly changing and as the company changes to adapt to it, so do you.

What has been your greatest accomplishment at RestoreCore?

Bringing in large loss work – as an example, I was able to bring in a job resulting in large loss from a kitchen fire from a nationwide adjuster.
