This month we’re shining the Employee Spotlight on two key members of the RestoreCore team: Peter Baroutas and Adrienne Belfi.
Peter Baroutas
With a background in all phases of construction combined with hands-on experience in residential and commercial construction including renovation and remodeling, Peter Baroutas has been serving on the RestoreCore team for a year and a half. His role as Construction and Technician Supervisor tasks him with managing reconstruction projects as well as writing estimates and assisting on water damage emergencies when needed.
What has been your greatest accomplishment at RestoreCore?
My greatest accomplishment so far has been a job for a commercial client of ours. I was the manger during the water mitigation portion and also managed the reconstruction. I was able to finish both aspects of the job within 2 weeks.
What’s the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working at RestoreCore is being able to do what I love and doing so with a great team around me. The end result of seeing the transformation from day one of loss to the last day of construction and seeing the homeowner happy. I also love that RestoreCore gives me lots of opportunities, through training, to expand my knowledge in fields that I had no prior experience in.
What have you learned about yourself by working here?
That I can adapt to any situation and change gears at any given time. I can be managing a construction site one minute and the next I can be out on a water loss.
Anything else you’d like to add?
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether you win or lose, you have applied the best of yourself to the task at hand.
Adrienne Belfi
Serving as the glue to the office, Adrienne Belfi has been with the RestoreCore team for two years. Acting as Inside Project Coordinator, Adrienne does it all – answering phone calls, entering new jobs, communicating with the team, invoicing, and additional outreach. She also lends herself wherever needed to support the team.
What has been your greatest accomplishment at RestoreCore?
My greatest accomplishment so far with RestoreCore, besides getting hired, is becoming an IPC 2 and being the IPC for the CJ and CP office.
What’s the best part of working at the company?
The employees, not just in my team (they are great) but I also love speaking with and getting to know the teams in the other offices. I love helping people because I know that their world has just been turned upside down and we are the people they are trusting to bring them back to pre-loss conditions. I love that every day I learn something new about the work we do as well as the experiences I have had working for such a great company.
What have you learned about yourself by working here?
I have learned that I can succeed!
